Big Catfish

2,000.00

Big Catfish has always been in my sights. The idea sparked when I found two chrome Harley Davidson fenders at a scrapyard. The rear fender, wide and curving, instantly reminded me of a catfish’s open mouth. I began envisioning the sculpture on the spot. The result? A graceful, strikingly big catfish sculpture that exudes character and charm.

This is no ordinary catfish – it’s as old as I am, and its slightly weak vision, especially in the right eye, adds a touch of personality and whimsy to this one-of-a-kind artwork.

Materials Used in Big Catfish Sculpture:

Body: Parts of a washing machine drum and a Harley Davidson rear fender

Tail: A bicycle lamp housing and part of an antique washing board

Fins: Reclaimed golf iron heads

Head: Harley Davidson rear fender section, a chrome fruit bowl, ladle, hubcap, and furniture handle

Whether you’re a lover of upcycled metal sculptures or searching for a unique centerpiece to elevate your space, the Big Catfish is sure to impress with its creative use of recycled materials and bold design.
